THE RESIDENCE Debuts in Design District

Founded by Alberto Vignatelli, Luxury Living Group is an Italian luxury furniture and homeware company that develops, produces, and distributes furniture collections for some of the world’s most renowned brands. The company’s brand portfolio is one of the largest in the furniture industry and continues to evolve, showcasing the latest and most luxurious trends in home design.

Luxury Living Group’s first US showhouse took place at THE RESIDENCE in the heart of the Magic City’s thriving Design District. The space represents a rare opportunity for visitors to immerse themselves in the authentic Luxury Living experience.

“In addition to our nearby showroom, which features curated vignettes from each brand, our show house will offer this talented group of designers unfettered access to our complete arsenal of product,” says Raffaella Vignatelli, president of Luxury Living Group. “It’s an opportunity to mix and match in truly unique and original ways, which underscore the wealth of our offerings and give clients a chance to explore new possibilities within this consummate residential experience.”

The inaugural showhouse was designed exclusively by Design Force Miami – an interior consortium that is breaking new ground in a fiercely competitive industry. The talented group consists of six Miami-based interior designers: B+G Design, Fava Design Group, House of Odalys, Janet Patterson Interior Design and Miguel Lewis Interiors. The designers share their industry knowledge, design expertise, and collaborate to incorporate the latest trends in luxury living. With a collective roster of design projects completed worldwide, the group has a wealth of information to share with fellow designers, design students, and customers.

For THE RESIDENCE showhouse, each studio selected items from Luxury Living’s full range of brands to create a shoppable display, complete with living room, dining room, bedroom, lounge and kitchen. Featured brands include FENDI Casa, Bentley Home, Trussardi Casa, Heritage and Paul Mathieu.

“We are honored and excited to have been chosen by Luxury Living to create such a unique environment showcasing the finest design brands the market has to offer. Design Force Miami envisioned a stylish, luxurious vacation home for a well-traveled, international family that will be ideal for their casual lifestyle, as well as for formal entertaining,” says Giselle Loor Sugerman, co-founder of B+G Design.

Designing Miami toured the space this month and can attest: Design Force Miami’s vision was perfectly executed. From the incredible Orlean wallpaper selections, to the mixed tones and textures used to curate each individual room, THE RESIDENCE is wonderfully crafted and special. Luxury Living also invited Miami Design District neighbors to collaborate on the project including Opera Gallery, which curated the fine art; and Emilio Robba who designed the permanent florals. A personal favorite, Orlean’s wallcoverings are a showstopper.

The collaboration at THE RESIDENCE highlights the Miami Design District as a true center for Interior Design, and the showhouse as a truly inspirational space for home owners, design lovers, and design professionals alike.

The showhouse, located at 4100 Northeast 2nd Avenue, will be open through December 2019 to both designers and consumers. Each upcoming showcase will include the work of local designers, which they plan to replicate in Los Angeles and New York.
