Tropical Modern Architecture Moves Inland
Known for transforming North Bay Road and the Venetian Islands with their signature Tropical Modern designs, award-winning architects, Choeff Levy Fischman are now designing bespoke luxury single-family homes in affluent suburban neighborhoods including Pinecrest and Coral Gables.
“I think homeowners living in traditional suburbs appreciate Tropical Modern design and its unique elements,” said Ralph Choeff, founding principal of Choeff Levy Fischman. “They want to raise their families in quieter neighborhoods, but also want the same luxuries and amenities that the homes we design in Miami Beach have.”
What are these design elements? Exotic South American woods, stone, water features, and floor-to-ceiling glass walls that pocket and disappear to create an indoor-outdoor resort-style living. While most of the suburban single-family homes designed by Choeff Levy Fischman consist of one main living area, as opposed to the two-story waterfront residences with rooftops found on the beach, these homes all boast open-floor plans, expansive master bedroom suites, and specially curated areas for entertaining.
The premier architecture firm has several projects in process across Miami at the moment that are expected to be completed within the next year and continue to expand its reach throughout other parts of the state including Southwest Ranches, Weston, Fort Lauderdale, and Tampa.
