Objets, Striking Silhouettes by Light on White
Designing South Florida recently met with architect and designer Alizée Brion at CASACOR Miami, where we got a preview of her new furniture collection, Objets. Created in her Miami-based Light on White international architecture and interior design studio and produced in France, the collection is comprised of collectible sculptures produced in limited edition and made-to-order series. At CASACOR, Brion unveiled the KOA tables. The striking silhouettes are carved from a single block of marble in high gloss lacquer that function as both a table and work of art for any room in the house. The tables are solid marble and are perfect for outdoor spaces taking full advantage of the South Florida climate, creating a sense of elegance and sophistication.

“I chose marble for the collection because of its natural beauty and mystery,” said Brion. “Every piece of marble is one of a kind with its own pattern; therefore, the result is always a pleasant surprise. Marble is also weather-proof so the pieces can fit inside or outside.”
Brion was born in Paris, raised in London, and holds a master’s in architecture from Columbia University in New York. In 2016, she founded Light on White, an architecture and interior design studio offering a cohesive vision from initial space planning to bespoke finishing touches. Her attention to detail is clear. The harmony of her finished designs from wall coverings to furniture creates living experiences that relax the soul.
She and her team specialize in designing luxury residential projects for private clients and property developers around the world as well as hospitality spaces and yacht interiors. Her love for nature inspires her designs and creations and what better natural material to use for the new furniture collection than marble.

For the second part of the Objets collection’s unveiling, Brion will showcase other select furniture pieces, including the ITO side chairs, NEO bench, and TAO console table at Kips Bay Decorator Show House in Palm Beach, from February 1st to March 1st.
The final part of the collection will be launched at the Architectural Digest Design Show in New York on March 19th through the 22nd, with the unveiling of the TAO dinner table, a 125” long single slab of marble, and the BEA armchair.
